The traditional King Cake is a staple in New Orleans, Louisiana for annual Mardi Gras celebrations. There is even a dedicated King Cake season, with several popular bakeries selling 30,000-100,000 in just two months! This year pre-sales started December 26th for King Cake season (Jan 6th - Feb 13th). Tameka's Cakes & Desserts is a little late to the party, but we wanted to make sure we gave Fort Wayne our best version of what's so beloved in the popular southern city this time of year.
